About the piece
Model 1386/5 from Paavo Tynell's Taito workshop in Helsinki: five brass arms around a turned wooden centre, each carrying a glass shade, with a rope detail at the rim.
The suffix in Taito's numbering gives the number of lights. This is the five-light version of model 1386.
